Yoshi, my Russan Tortoise has rings

Hi, was wondering what's going on with my Russian Tortoise. She is getting larger rings, is this normal? Does anyone know what's happening? I'm new to the tortoise world and worried that something is wrong, because they are getting wider. Thanks a bunch for any response. Cheryl

They're growth rings. They will darken with age. There's nothing to worry about

This is showing the difference between her diet prior to you getting her and her diet now. She's being fed better and more than she was before and so she's putting on a lot of new growth.

Thank you so much for your replies. I'm happy that there is nothing wrong with her. When we got her from the pet store, she was loaded with parasites and not too healthy. We've had her now for awhile and being a newbie, I'm always worried I'm doing something wrong.
