I found this set on clearance in Petco and bought it early in my plans to get a tortoise. Now that I know the best lights, etc, I’m wondering if I could still use any of this kit in a smaller section of habitat for a Russian tort?

Hi! I can’t quite make out the bulbs that come with it? Also does it come with the domes? If so, what size are they?

I can see what looks like a coco fibre carpet which won’t really be of much use as it’ll mould up, the gauge monitor it comes with aren’t very accurate either so I’d have digital back ups running

None of that is any good, I'd return it
The domes are too narrow
The gauges are not accurate
The bulbs are wrong kind
I know nothing about the coconut coir mats.

I couldn’t zoom in enough to make out what it came with tbh, glad you’ve clarified the bulbs

One is a spot bulb the other black bulb.

You have good eyesight lol, couldn’t see if it was a spot or floodlight
