Zohan is home!

I just bought my first Eastern Hermann's Tortoise from Pete with Skimmerhorn Exotics at the WCRE in Red Deer, Alberta

After the 10 hour drive Zohan was quick to bask for a couple hours before the lights went off. He is 6-8 months old and very quick to explore his new territory.

Ive planted some forget me nots in the little house which should soon sprout . I built it for the roof to remove easily. But I am lacking much plant life and to scared the garden store may have pesticides :s

Im already completely obsessed with him, and trying to leave him alone . After the hard six months of prep and looking for a Western, the cave into the Eastern was well worth the wait.

Thank you everyone , he has been sleeping a lot now. Im assuming this is most of a tortoises day and life lol. He ate a bit of cucumber, but other then that I have wheat grass planted everywhere now . Wont eat nothin else though.
