So I have a Russian tortoise and the tip of her nose is dry and kinda white what can i do to help that?
I'm struggling with dryness too. My tortoise sleeps in a humid closed chamber with nearly 90% humidity and she is soaked for a half an hour every single day when she comes in for the night. However, I'm still struggling with dryness since she is outside every day and my climate is extremely dry, warm, and always breezy to very windy. I'm going to try out putting some organic coconut oil on her shell and skin and see if this will help at all. Coconut oil is harmless, so I figure that as long as I keep it away from her eyes, it doesn't hurt to try.So I have a Russian tortoise and the tip of her nose is dry and kinda white what can i do to help that?
Is your Tortoise open to wind constantly. Wind dries everything out. If you blow a fan on a puddle of water. The puddle will disappear.
