Now THAT'S dry. Is the skin near his nose cracked open here? Mine looked a lot like that when I got him and he had bloody cracks in his skin. I wasn't sure if that happens a lot when RFs are dry or if mine was being kept under a heater or something before I got him. This is a picture of him at three rescue, before I adopted him.
No, it wasn't cracked. I'm amazed though at how much more of his coloring came out!Now THAT'S dry. Is the skin near his nose cracked open here? Glad you took this one home and gave him a good habitat!
RF rescues are always secretly stunning in my opinion. They all look muddy and grey, then husbandry improves and out comes that gorgeous coloration. No, it wasn't cracked. I'm amazed though at how much more of his coloring came out!
Mine look dull after few days outside. There's something about my garden dirt, that's extremely drying to my hands and must be doing this same thing to those babies. I love the way they look after their bath and coco oil massageNo, it wasn't cracked. I'm amazed though at how much more of his coloring came out!
LOL! I think the short answer to this is "NO". Not on a specialist site like this, where all or most of the members are looking to both learn and teach others! So be prepared!Well I love him. Isn't it frustrating that you can't just post a cute picture without getting all kinds of concern/advice? I can appreciate and value everyone's knowledge and experience, but geez, can't people just post a pic once in a while?
