Hey, welcome to The Cold Dark Room! We have some strange beings lurking here. Can anyone list them for our newest member? I know there's an armadillo, and something that brings us drinks, but it's been so long since we talked about them I can't remembber.

I get the shots about every 2 yrs for my lower back. I have a appointment next month for another shot.
In my cervical area, I had problems with pinched nerves. They tried the shots at first with no luck.
They tried another procedure called Radio Frequency Ablation. They actually burn the nerve endings. For me it worked, from waking up with a migraine every morning. It has been about 3 years. The doctor said the nerve endings will rejuvenate. At that time I will need the procedure again. If the migraines come back.
One of the biggest reasons I really don't want to try it is my size. They usually don't understand that I actually am just a very small person. The medical profession don't really make things for children or small people. Also I read that the headaches are from accidentally hitting the wrong place in the spine. I've already had that happen with a spinal. I don't want to go through the headaches again. They're horrible. So I'm going to try a Spanx girdle first. I bought one. It's a large and yet it's really tight. I might buy an extra large one too for when I just need a little bit of support. I can't believe that women bigger than me can actually squeeze themselves into one of those in a large, wear it all day, and love them. That thing won't let a single bone move in the wrong way. 👍

Adding to Yvonne's greeting. Hello and welcome. 😊 I've heard about leprechauns and such stuff around here. Tidgy's Dad drops in once in a while and he loves coffee and CHEESE 🧀. He's the one that got us all addicted to each other. It's a wonderful spot even if we are in a cold dark room. If I remember right the jelly fish brighten our day now and then. But I forget too. I figure you've read it anyway if you actually gotten through 9459 pages 🤒😉 so hello 👋 🤗 😘

Hello back, I did not read all of it but I did skim through a couple thousand before noticing that I had gone through a couple thousand. So armadillo bartender and jellyfish to brighten up the day, what a coincidence, I need a group to talk to about slightly personal but dimmed out stuff😘

Greetings! We have a few hundred meerkats that rummage about in here looking for fossils & bryozoans. Be warned.

Dear Lyn,

How are your neighbours? I am reporting my neighbours to the council. I mentioned this to three other neighbours who are thinking of doing the same thing but when I spoke to one of the neighbours he said that he had also contacted the landlords who say that they are trying to get them out! The landlords are also the estate agents so how can they be struggling to get them out? I think they are obliged to find other properties for them but as they don't want them in any of their properties they are staying put!

There's the One-Legged Pirate, a Leprechaun, armadillos that are mobile chairs, one giant armadillo coffee table, bats, a couple of penguins, jellyfish in tanks that glow if you prod them............................

Sorry to hear of your neighbor troubles N, I hope that you can resolve them peacefully....but remember, there's always "plan b". Lol

TD ....coffee makes friends! I'm having my 2am cup now and it's really good. House is empty, " How it's Made" on the TV. Life is good. Kerry and her dad left at 7am. One thing about someone staying with you if you tend to wake at night, it sucks.

I did run the shed to shed wiring yesterday. I was smart to thread the wire through the fittings and piping before I glued the PVC pipe together between the sheds. I never would have been able to pull it through. I used 1" sched #40 pipe I had. Didn't connect anything yet but got the receptacles and light switch boxes installed.

Ok, this is important;
I promised Kerry that I would buy insurance for myself for 6 months without complaining. That period is coming to an end and I had other priorities so I'm just now getting into this.
Still trying to wrap my head around this whole medical insurance mess for old folks. It appears that SS will deduct 348($174x2 because I worked hard) each month as a "license" to buy Part B insurance from a company for another 450 per month? REALLY?? Do I have this right? And folks go along with this?
I don't want to make decisions based off incorrect information but " me nombre es Jose" seems to be a less expensive alternative.

Good luck mr ray!
Thanks Mark, the procedure was canceled. They called me at 9am fri. Said they needed a medical release from my primary doctor. It needed to be to them by noon. I called my primary and they said. I needed to be seen by the doctor. Well that wasn't going to happen on such short notice. So now I need to reschedule.
