So my 1 year old Greek tortoise had started to 'whistle' when breathing, this morning I didnt hear anything like it but noticed it just now as I got him out for a little run about. Ive been looking for other signs such as runny eyes, runny nose, lethargy, and loss of appetite. Ive checked him over he has no other signs/symptoms of a respiratory infection.

Hes currently trying to climb ontop of his house right now. His substrate is coco coir however does dry out quite quickly but I try and moisten it as often as I can.

I just really need some advice as I'm worried and because it's a Sunday barely anywheres open.

Hello!
I hope there's nothing wrong with your tortoise! But I still would suggest to continue watching him.
My RF makes sounds when he is excited. But my Greek did it when she was sick.....
Thank you!

Ive been double keeping an eye on him and have checked nose and eyes for discharge but all seems fine and hes still wrecking his house 😅 also ate a lot too but will keep an eye on him. It seems to have reduced massively so unsure if he just ate way too much at once
