Peat Moss vs. Sphagnum Moss

What is the difference between Peat Moss And Sphagnum Moss?
Which one is best for box turtles?
Iam using both in my boxie enclosure. Peat is more dirt like or coir like. Loose and good to dig into. Sphanum is more fiberous and good to hide under. Here's a pic of both. The brown is peat20141019_173817.jpg

Using both is fine. Also going out and getting some leaf litter would be very good too. In Ohio I would guess your leafs have fallen or are about too

What are the plants you have in there? All tortoise safe, I assume. I don't think my boxie will try and eat plants but if he tries, I want to give him variety

Just remember when your enclosure is feeling kinda mossy, little bugs are feeling kinda happy:)

Hostas and spider plants. I also have a lot of leaves from my yard
