Hello, a beautiful tortoise but it seems to me that she needs more humidity. The shell is pyramided. You can only stop this pyramiding with more humidity . Sorry, only an advice from another aldabra keeper ( me ).
You can soak him every other day perhaps. Aldabras love a "muddy pool" with ver wet substrate. When it is warm enough in the enclosure such a muddy pool is no health problem. Have you read the threads of @ALDABRAMAN in the aldabra section ? He keeps a herd of adult aldabras in Florida. Beautiful creatures and beautiful pics and videos of them. And they all like their muddy pool.I spray him and his environment daily as well as give him a wide variety to eat as well as vitamins once a week and bath him once a week
Though I am living in Germany I love to receive Sam`s newest e-mails when he shows his aldabras that are for sell and I saw some videos of him on YouTube. But our member Aldabraman has the bigger and more beautiful property. His tortoises live in a tortoise heaven on earth !I have thought about making him a small one when he gets a bit bigger from a kittie pool by putting it into the ground and makin a shallow mud hole. I just got two small ones im
About to post a video of them as well. I got mine off of Sam from Florida iquana and tortoise breeders number 55 is extra perfect and smooth
