Any Good Suppliers On The West Coast?

I was just curious about tortoises.10 years ago I would have been a buyer. Had a 2 story home with a huge yard to grow food for them. Now I am in a small condo. I am afraid too small for any tortoise.

Would Have Gotten a Red-footed Tortoise When I Had The Room!

I would be a little hesitant about Russian Tortoises because of them being wild caught. May be it has improved with captive breed individuals.:)

Would Have Gotten a Red-footed Tortoise When I Had The Room!

Thanks for the quick replies. Horned Frogs are cool. I agree. I bought all the books on them I could find before I got the frog. Like tortoises and turtles even there was a lot of mis information. I know there are two good books on RF. And of course this forum.

Would Have Gotten a Red-footed Tortoise When I Had The Room!

We use to live in a two story, 4 bed room home but now live in a small condo. The house would have been great as it had a large yard in the back. Lots of room to grow tortoise food. I was interested in aquariums then. I only have a Horned Frog now. Oh well that's the way things go.:(

    Snapping Turtle Found

This happened a few years ago. I live in Juneau, Southeast Alaska. Hardly a place for turtles. Someone was driving out the highway and happened to see a turtle walking across the pavement. They stopped and it turned out to be a Common Snapping Turtle. I believe it was the size of a salad plate...
