She is 1 and a half and we have had her about a month

Hello boys and girls I have a hermanns who is 1 and a half and she hates bath time. Constantly tries to get out of it and never goes near the water bowl in her table. Is this normal? I have varied the temps of the water and added more and less and she still wants out.

This is my little Tilly with her first strawberry.

He's handsome. And nice patterns on the shell.

Are they in England?

I bought her from a pet shop in Surrey, england where we live. It's a well known pet shop and they told me I would have to do this.

She is already chipped but they told me that I have to contact DEFRA to register the chip to me.

I have a year and a half hermanns called tilly ( we thought she was 2 but where wrong) and I need to register her microchip in the UK ( where we live) where do I do this? I was told DEFRA but I cannot find a link for tortoise it's all about the dogs. Any help would be great guys

The shaving is aspen and is made for reptiles. As for the light I'll do a little more research and may make some adjustments. [emoji106]

Thanks for the input guys. This is my first tortoise so I have done research and spoken to a lady who works at the pet shop and specialises in reptiles. She also gets vet referrals regarding reptiles. So a lot of my info has come from her. I am still and am happy to hear what different opinions...

Me and my daughter will be so happy to collect our first 2 year old Hermanns we have named tilly in the morning. It's been a few weeks getting all the equipment ready and setting the table up.
