Is this shell rot? im talking about the mark on the lower right of the picture, and some of it is on the bottom of the picture aswell. He had some of these wierd marks on the top of its shell aswell but i scrubbed it off with a toothbrush. there was no discharge, just plain shell. i scrubbed...
the fixture came with its own bulb, it was a 5.0 so i didnt use it, and it also didnt work, so im assuming its the fixture. Me n my dad are gonna take a look at it later
I recently bought a zoo med terrarium hood and it just blew out with 2 days of use. im using a 10.0 T5 high output tube for uvb and its 22 inches long. im having a hard time trying to find the lamp specific for this bulb. can someone link me to a light fixture for this bulb?
Im making a new enclosure for my tort, is tarp safe for it? im going to put the tarp as a second layer to protect the wood from the moisture of the substrate so it doesnt rot
also if you can, i need some tips on making the closure, im using a tarp, wood for the table, cococoir substrate along with top soil, im gonna have a humid hide along with a normal hide.
Im upgrading my baby Hermans Tortoise enclosure to a 4x3, this is temporary, but i think it will do for the next year or so. Im changing to a T5 10.0 UVB strip light and if anyone is able to, can i get a link for a lamp to hold the light? Ill ask my brother too but i want to see what you guys say.
I just got a baby hermans tortoise last sunday. Its very active and eats alot. Ive soaked it 5 times. Hasnt pooped in the soak. But i do keep finding what seems to be poop in the substrate (it smells bad, like poop) but idk if its just part of the coco fiber. What u guys think? I probably...
yea i bought some amdro. how long should i wait? Im also going to place some amdro in a mason jar n poke holes in the lid, and keep it in a corner of the enclosure. i saw that idea on another thread from zeropilot
