Hi everyone! How often can I feed my russian tortoise a few pinky nail pieces of strawberry? I rarely have them but when I do I want to let him have some more than once. Is it okay to give him a few pieces a few days in a row? Of course accompanied by his normal diet. He loves them!
My Russian tortoises basking lamp burnt out today while I was at work or while i was at a friends after work. I am not sure how long it has been out could've been over 12 hrs. I am freaking out. I just put him under a replacement bulb but will he be okay? He never goes that long without basking...
Thanks everyone! I bathed him today about an hour after his heat lamp turned on and he was so chill! He didn't start treadmilling until about 10 minutes in. New record! How long does everyone soak their tortoises each time? I am still new at this and want to do the best for my little guy.
