    Sulcata Burrowing?

Great! Thanks a ton. My sulcata is in an enclosed enclosure outside if that makes any sense. I have a clear roof that hinges off to keep in humidity, and I mist daily.

    Cucumber safe

I'm assuming that cucumber is safe for sulcatas too, right? I'm always looking for ways to make sure my sulcata is fully hydrated.

    Sulcata Burrowing?

Hey all, I have a 6-month-old sulcata tortoise who's doing really well! I have a big 4' x 4' enclosed outdoor enclosure for her, she eats a lot, is super active, and has a tough shell. I have 2 questions- I've had 2 cuttlebones in her enclosure for over a month now, and she hasn't taken one...

    Sources for glass or acrylic

Hey all, I'm in the process of building an enclosed 4' by 5' enclosure for my 5-month-old sulcata, Artemis. The wooden frame I already have done and is no problem. however, I don't know where to find glass or acrylic for covering the sides! all of the sources that I've found all cost so...

    A bunch of hatching questions

I had a ton of questions, so I thought I would cram them all into one thread. Should I be concerned about overfeeding? Often, once she's about halfway through with her spinach and grass blades, she just pulls most of her food out of the dish and it gets all covered in substrate, so then I'll...

    Any thoughts on enclosure ventilation?

Thanks to all. Sorry for asking questions that have already been answered! I'll check before I post next time.

    Any thoughts on enclosure ventilation?

So I'm working on my hatchling sulcata's closed enclosure now(either 4x4 of 4x5 feet), and I'm wondering if I should put in ventilation holes. do tortoises need them? do they affect humidity? I was just thinking of making two small 4" by 4" holes and covering them with a screen. will my...

    Taming hatching Sulcata

I have her in an under bed storage container 36" by 17", with sphagnum moss substrate. This is only temporary though, I'm already working on a 4' by 5' covered enclosure. Thanks! I'm building a larger 4' by 4' closed enclosure this weekend. will that be enough? It'll be housed outdoors.

    Taming hatching Sulcata

Not really"tamed", wrong word choice. I really meant just getting comfortable around my presence. She's pretty shy right now.
