No, they would not enjoy that at all. And the condition some of my packages arrive on my doorstep doesn’t give me confidence in their safety traveling through the Mail.
I’m in no hurry for them to move out. They’re perfectly happy here.
Yes, I am aware. They have their own enclosures. I’m in no hurry to rehome. They were both rescues and I’ve had them for a few years. I’m just making them available if anyone is interested.
I actually have 2 male Russians that I am willing to have adopted if anyone needs one. They are both older, and rescues, so I don’t know the exact age. One very much wants a female. I’m in Orange County.
Thank you so much for all the information. Dragon is definitely a male. I am not interested in breeding him because there are already so many abandoned RES in my area. Our neighborhood library pond is full of abandoned and discarded sliders of all ages and sizes. It’s very sad.
I will...
Hello. I found this site last week and my goodness I’ve learned so much already. I have 3 tortoises and 1 Red Eared Slider.
Yes. I bought him on a whim when he was the size of a quarter, but I absolutely adore him and he turns 6 on Valentine’s Day.
He’s called Dragon.
He’s happy and healthy...
I actually exited the Forum and immediately ordered some from eBay. I like to get things done. ?
I’m definitely going to be looking into building an outdoor water enclosure.
I think my turtle boy would love it.
