I never expected a dog or cat reaction so don't assume so, all i want is for her to be less scared of me, how do i handle her more?

I've had my tortoise for about 8 or 9 months and she's still scared of me, she'll only hand feed in her enclosure and she'll run away from me and poop when i let her free roam, is there a way i can bond with her so she's less scared?

There is also another thing ive been worried about, is it normal to have skinflakes?? Ive been giving her more frequent soaks but nomatter what i try it seems like she always has flaky dry skin. Is there anything i can do to help her with this?

We bought her less than a year ago and they gave us no information on how old she was, but ive heard that inches determines how old they are so i assume 5 years?? I don't think it woukd be the bark as the redbark is fairly new to her enclosure, the deformity hasnt opened or anything so i think...

Is she in pain?? Is there anything i can do to fix this and prevent anything in the future??

Ok so this is the first time ive ever seen anything like this, we just recently moved and i already expected her to poo alot so we put her in a carrier and took her to our new home and when i looked inside and saw her poo there were MILLIONS of worms in it, we've been trying to find a reptile...

Every now and then my Russian tortoise will bob in and out of her shell, it's probably nothing but i freak out over the easiest things.

i'll try to remember to do this once i get home!

I'm also slightly unsure of its gender? i was told if they have its tail down it should be a female but it does both
