He eats off a slate.. I have a dremmel but would rather a good vet do it first.. even if I watch the first time. What are the best recommended tortoise vets?.. I’m in Scotland.. half an hour from Carlisle.

Mr j is a lot better after moving his lamp down slightly and a few more carrot baths. I bought a juicer a while back, juice a bunch of carrots and hey presto.. A jug of suspiciously looking gravy
I live in a little bungalow cottage in the country so is hard to keep heat stable this time of year. I've adjusted the light down in his enclosure to put the temp up a bit.. Hope that's all it is! It's making me wonder how people in the uk keep torts outside even in the summer the weather is up...
Gave Mr jingles a carrot juice soak today after a few days of sluggish behaviour.. It's pepped him right up! He seemed to enjoy it more than his water soaks for some reason.

Hey folks so I was in my local timber yard last night to price some for my enclosures I'm building, are there woods I should keep away from? Are there chemicals in the wood that might harm?
