I have a question...what kind snails do you guys feed to your hingeback? the 2 i have right now...one eats a lot of food..the other one is really really really really shy....don't even come out of the shell unless i soak her...do you think i should put both into individual tubs? i tried papaya...

I will try to take photo of the tail of the other...seems the other one is very shy...i soak them everyday...after soaking i see them pooping...and the shy one..always poo....green colored stools..while the active one's stool is like different colors depending on what she eats...

Got myself 2 more new tortoises...2 weeks ago..was told by the seller that it was a 1.1 forest hingeback tortoise..after looking and asking on another forum..found out they were home's hingeback....and after reading the top forum about sexing these guys...i think instead of a 1.1...these guys...

Hi Danny how can you tell its a female? i thought it was a boy..cuz...from it's size...it's tail is the same size as the other one...dunno...and how do u tell it's from jordan???..i'm still bit confused... Thank You Jay

Well, I went and grabbed that Supposely Male Black Greek Tortoises from this other petshop...Please tell me it's a male....please please please lol....oh if it's an ibera too????? after comparing the plastron and patterns on top of the shell...i'm having doubts...><'' so please....thanks again...

Thanks for the info..also...a pyramided tortoises...would you breed it..?!?!?the black greek i saw at the petshop..it's still young..i would say a bit smaller then the girl i have..and his shells are not smooth..some serious pyramiding going on.. thanks

How can you tell? Also, i saw a male Greek Tortoises for sale..it's still a juvi...with a pyramiding on his shells...it's shell is like Almost 80-90% black in colour..is that a sub-spec as well? or is it a ibera too? Thanks J

Really? because when i bought it from the store..(was a trade in) it was labeled as a boy.....I also found a black Greek tortoises(is there such thing as black?!?!?) a boy..so i guess i'll go buy that boy... Thanks
