Did you ever get a breeding group of mexican box turtles going? If so what area(s) are they from? Are all from within 50 miles of one another. Just curious...T. yucatana has one of the smallest ranges of any I have ever seen and it is dwindling. One day they will all be gone :(

I'm a herpetologist. I 've been keeping and breeding (is a few cases) turtles since I was 6, I'm almost 27. 6 eastern boxers 2 northern diamond back terrapin 1 eastern snapping turtle 1 spotted turtle. The little reminder that is at the bottom of my posts, my signature I think they call it is a referance to two myths one is a Tsalagi (Cherokee), and the other is one of Aesops myths (Greek).

remember it was Box Turtle that beat Rabbit..... and the tortoise that beat the hare:)
