I’ve not had a greenhouse topper as the humidity is still reading around 75% he has a humid hide soaks daily and loves to drink out of his water bowl he’s always there so I’ve not felt the need for it. ❤️

Hi yes I do have a lip on one of the sides but I’ll be putting lips round the rest I think! Hopefully will prevent any further escapes until we move and he can get his permanent abode which will be completely escape through!! Just trying to find something that looks nice as well as suitable haha!

Just a little update we are half way through our antibiotic treatment for RI and things are finally starting to pick up I’ve been out for a couple of hours and been watching on the camera Sheldon has made the water bowl a mud bath eaten all his food and been mooching round most of the day...

Yeah the vet said it was a 2 man job but we have had no luck! I’m going to ask them tomorrow to see if they can give it to him there tomorrow 😂

I’m definitely going to try it! The vets gave me a critical feed to give him through a syringe upto 3 times a day! But trying to get him to open his mouth and get a little syringe in is absolutely impossible😂 so we’ve just had to give that one a miss!

Had a little LMAO moment today! I’ve been reported and blocked off the tortoise friendly community groups on Facebook for recommending to some users to use the tortoiseforum for more credible, useful and friendly advice 😂🐢

Aw thank you, I do have some sort of nutriboost powder to put in his water which I have done every 3 days since getting him but will give the carrot thing ago over the weekend once the food shop comes ! 😂 thank you x

Also just wondering what the benefits are to mixing the organic carrot baby food with warm water? I am definitely going to give it a go just intrigued to know the reasoning behind it? X
