Just a random thing that came up in a conversation. How much breading is on a fish fillet by weight?
Everyone loves Mrs Paul's so I'm not picking on them, it's just what's in our freezer. I took one, warmed it so i could easily remove the breading.
So how much breading is there? 10% by weight? I had guessed 25% by weight. What is your guess right now?
Total Package weight is 19.1 ounces containing 10 fillets. This math doesn't get much easier. 1.91 ounces total weight per fillet.
So how much of that 1.91, almost 2 full oz is bread?
80%!!
