The "girls" are a bit dirty because the pics were taken after playing in the backyard before their soak. Scarlet is about 3/4 the size of Babette yet has a lot longer and thinner tail.

Still too young to tell. Babette looks like she's leaning female.

Sorry but this is probably a stupid question but I was told that the males shell was concave and there poop shute was wider and the females shell was flat and her poop shute was more narrow. My question is is that accurate and since my baby has a flat bottom I assumed she was a girl. Would her shell change that much as she grows and fool you to thinking its a girl v/s a boy.

Well I guess I may still have a Rowdy Rodney v/s a Desert Rose. Lol any idea about what size or age its easier to tell there sex? Thanx in advance.

How big are your torts? Babette is 8 inches and some of the awesome experts here on the have said that would be the smallest you could even start to tell. Scarlet is a between six and 7 inches. I
