Baby Redfoot Only Wants to Eat Fruits & Pellets

Stick to chicken or peeled de-tailed shrimp. If you hang on to some super worms for about a month their slow enough you're tort may eat them.

Baby Redfoot Only Wants to Eat Fruits & Pellets

Boil a plain chicken breast and also chop up all the food you give in small pieces. I found that mojo started eating more when I started chopping everything up in about 1/2" size squares.

When you get the reptibark bake it for 20ish minutes before putting it in the enclosure to kill off any potential unwanted guests.

If I was home more I would do it. But unfortunately a lot of pet care falls on my wife. And she said another tortoise would be to much on her plate.

    Need opinions

The reality of the situation is an adult redfoot needs a minimum of 10'x10'. If you feel smaller then that will be ideal, then I suggest you move all your 💩 into the bathroom and live in there for a bit to get a feel for what it's like for a tortoise, that in the wild roams several mile a day.

    Red Foot New Enclosure Finally

The sensors that I linked in post#18 work great. I went with 4 sensors 1 in each corner cave and 1 on each side of the enclosure. I also have a camera for the enclosure and the cave mojo sleeps in.

I wouldn't use the sprayers in the enclosure either. You want upper layer of substrate to be dry.

It will take a few days to a week for him to get comfortable in the new tropical bungalow. He will probably hide a lot at first then he will explore a lot.
