Do you guys change the water they soak in after they poop, mine poops almost immediately when i give him a soak so he’s not in there long enough but i feel bad leaving him in poopy water! and when i change the water and put him back in he seems so stressed
how long should you soak a russian tortoise i’m not sure of his exact age he’s only about 4 inches but he hates soaks and i feel so bad watching him try to find a way out but i know he needs them, he gets them twice a week for about 10 minutes bc i feel it stresses him out
I am having so much trouble keeping the humidity high in my torts enclosure it’s glass so i thought that would make it easier but i am constantly spraying water in there and i have his water bowl plus another water area on the warm side to help with humidity but it hasn’t done much, any suggestions.

Hi i just got a russian tortoise and I know to turn her basking lamp off at night but do i also turn off her uvb light and during the day should i keep just the basking lamp on or both lamps on, i think basically i’m having trouble knowing when to turn on the uvb light
