pooping in water

Do you guys change the water they soak in after they poop, mine poops almost immediately when i give him a soak so he’s not in there long enough but i feel bad leaving him in poopy water! and when i change the water and put him back in he seems so stressed

Absolutely. You wouldn't sit in your poopy water. Plus they may want a drink.

Yes! I keep them in minimum 20 mins and that might mean changing it once for a poop and once to keep the heat up.

Okay that’s what i assumed but i remember seeing somewhere that it was okay if they way their own poop but that seemed weird to me so i wasn’t sure if that was true i just know he hates when i take him out just to put him back in i swear he would fight me if he could haha

That's okay that he doesn't like it. Let him have his fight, it's only with himself lol.
Eventually he may get to liking it.
