Although it breaks my heart to do this I need to sell my Horsefield tortoise, Teefour. She's around a year old and comes with full setup. I really don't want to put her on Gumtree as I couldn't bear it if someone stuck her in a Viv or something.. Is there anyone in the UK interested?

RE: Mould? I meant if I needed to varnish the wood would there be any types to avoid! I'm going to be using unfinished MDF sheeting, but if the Coco coir is damp surely that would cause some problems to the wood...

Quck question. If I build an enclosure from wood, I would have to treat it with something to stop the substrate from making it rot.. Right? Is there anything I should avoid? Anything toxic to torts? Anything you recommend?
