Just added some new things to Moose's home. We put in some orchid bark and a new water bowl and added some moss. Prior to her enclouser it was just organic top soil and it got everywhere but as you can see the bark is on the water side so were hoping it helps keep the water bowl cleaner.

I was just seeing if any of you have used the grazing mix on the internet designed for redfoots. Any thoughts on this would be great.
I know there diet is mostly fruit, protein and greens but just thought as a treat in her table would be nice.

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that were making a name change.
Since Moose is a girl and not a boy like we thought were changing the name. Her name is now Athena. Its a little more fitting .
This is moose's house, it was fine when he was a little small but he is big enough to get out now. Almost every other day he gets out.

The enclouser is a 6foot kiddy pool that has 12inch sides but with the substrate there maybe 8inches. I have noticed recently that when we get home see is out of it and tucked in the corner of the room or by a box. I think maybe she is bored. Planning on...
I have moved her to a serparate inclosure with out any dirt and i have a hide food and water for her with heat is this ok. I just dont want the open sore to get dirty. I was thinking two days just to be sure.
I cleaned her up and put on some neosporin.
Hey there, came home from work and checked on my tort and saw that she had some blood on her neck. It looks like her shell has rubbed on the back of her neck and has caused a sore.
Is this normal for torts and what can i do to help her.

Yea she is great! It threw us for a loop because we are so used to him being a boy for the last two years. But she actually responds more now when we call her honey or sweet heart. Instead of buddy or guy. Kinda weird.
