Should I invest in a night time bulb? And I meant she has hay in her hide, her substrate is coco coir.

Under her basking bulb its 90° For night heat her home has hay in it but she stills sleeps under the bulb. Shes about 4 1/2 inches is that to small? Ok ill start to soak her daily.

She lives in a 30gallon aquarium but has a large outdoor enclosure for her to graze. She sleeps in the tank in her hide. I live in AZ. Im using a 75w heat lamp in one end. Soak about once a week.

My 1 1/2 year old sulcata has been sleeping a lot more than usual and its starting to worry me. After I take her inside she goes right to sleep and stays sleeping till noon. She also isnt eating her grass, i even tried kale. The only thing i could get her to eat is pellets. Does anyone know...

Ok I got her new substrate and baked it then soaked it in warm water. Ill try this out and update on if it works or not.

Well Im going to buy some new substrate lol luckily theres only a few in there. Im just scared on HOW they got in the tank.

Oh great (Im sensitive towards bugs :0) So is there any way to get rid of them? And what are those little fuzzy balls by her water?

I havent seen one fly. I saw a gnat in there yesterday and killed it. Theres also little fuzzy white balls around her water bowl where they are.

I decided to let my little sully whos about 1 1/2yrs old try and mud bathe. She absolutley hated it! She tried to ram my hand away and was very upset. So i walked away and she just refused to mud bathe. I took her back in and she was perfectly fine. At what age do sulcatas start liking mud bathes?

This shot was extremly hard to get as she is EXTREMLY shy.

Thanks for the reply, her uvb lamp is less than 6 months old. I cant post pictures at the time as im not home. I take her outside almost everyday for at least an hour.

Im very worried shes starting to pyramid and I feel extremely awful because of it. If she is pyramiding how bad is it and how can I stop it from getting worse?
