Hi there i have had my sulcata for about a year now I've been keeping him (i hope its a him) In a 4ft vivarium with coco coir as substrate the humidity in the vivarium is always between 60-80% he has a hide box where i keep his substrate very damp in there. I have a heating bulb and a basking...
So titan has settled in nicely i have him in a humid environment following toms instructions! he seems nice and happy! gets bath soaked once or twice a day sprayed a few times and when the suns out i stick him in the garden in a nice roomy pen!
Indoor temps are (degrees Celsius) 36-39 basking...
This has probably been asked a hundred times but my little guy wont stop flipping himself over on the corners of his enclosure. i help him every time but he huffs at me! can it damage a small sulcata being on his back for a while? should i leave him to flip himself back over?
SO i moved him today from his dry temporary beech wood chip substrated vivarium to his nice humid damp substrate table with sleeping quarters! the whole shebang. all he has tried to do is frantically get out. tipping himself over 3 times and squealed a few times too. tried to bite his nice new...
What type of bedding can i use for my little guy? i have a table setup and there is a heated covered bedding area. i have used coco for his main substrate what can i put in the bedding bit that is safe and will keep it warm?
So ive got a nice bucket of prepared coco dirt ready for the table setup should i mix it with some beech chips aswell or just use coco husk and how deep should i make the substrate?
