I've only had him for a few months now. My girlfriend was kind enough to donate her kitchen table, so we have a larger enclosure in the works. I was told he was a male when I got him, but judging by his size (about 3.5 inches) and shape, its either too early to tell or he's actually a she.
I'm looking for a non-aquatic species of turtle that doesn't hibernate. A "beginner" species preferably. Any advice? Are there any species that don't require a ton of humidity? A species that isn't territorial would be a plus, but not required by any means.
