My neighbor spotted a large male Sulcata in the road while working in Carlsbad. He tried knocking on doors to find his home, but had to take it with him because he feared he might get run over. I have him and want to get him get him home. Thanks

Found this little one under my truck yesterday evening. I live in Las Vegas, NV and am pretty sure it’s a desert tortoise but this tortoise is definitely not wild. I would like confirmation on species just so I know how to properly handle it.
