First time Tortoise Owner here, I got this baby a few months ago and it's now about 7 months old now. I've been really cautious and wanting Rocky to get used to their environment and not freak them out but clearly I should've been less cautious and more concerned cause it seems Rocky has shell...

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted something on here, as I've been collecting everything I can to make sure my soon to be new baby redfoot is as happy as can be. I am happy to say that I have received my Enclosure from @Markw84 and am more than satisfied with how it turned out. I...
Hello, tortoiseforum! I'm a newbie here and was looking for some guidance on how to properly care for my red-foot hatchling, Bubba (named after Leatherface).
On October 26th (9 days ago), I visited a local expo with intentions of picking up a few arthropods if I could find them. Instead, I...
I am getting two baby redfoots soon and I would like to know if I put a tarp over my open enclosure will it keep the enclosure humid enough?

These are two ideas I have so far as I...
Today Lego, hours before Milton hurricane hits Florida was exploring a patch of orchids we keep in our screened area in the backyard. His curious nature and the colorful flowers create a relaxing scene of discovery in the garden just before the storm.

I see a red face, don't know much about head shapes.
Regular carapace and yellow plastron. Is that typical for specific region?
I feel is more like a hybrid, but want to know from all what do you...

Anyone can share how this occurs?
