2 indonesian box turtles on cl

Those poor turtles! The only Indonesian box turtles I've seen are wild caught adults. I can't imagine TWO adult turtles in a 10 gallon tank!

I saw some in San Diego also. I've heard they do best in ponds - similar to aquatics.

I can't imagine one indo box in a 10 gallon, let alone two.

Hi, I did contact the person with these. He said they are pretty small and he 'made' them land turtles. he does have a pie pan of sorts so they can have access to water. I know nothing about them, but he's doing what he was told.I see they are pretty aquatic and probably should have a filter involved. Some folks just take what the pet stores tell them and never look up what is really what they need. Sad.
