I was out in the garden today to plant some of the Russian Tortoise Mix & Tortoise Mix Seeds from carolina pet supply that arrived in the mail and snagged a bunch of free Peaches.

My neighbors have a chainlink fence between their garden and ours, and in said garden they have about 3 peach trees, a fig tree and some other random garden greenery.

Luckily, they no longer really care about any of the trees, but the things still grow and put out fruit like crazy. So they told me and my family that any fruit we want, we can have.

And nothing tastes better than free juicy peaches <3

If your neighbor really doesn't care much about the trees...I trim branches off my fig trees occasionally and feed them to the Yellowfoot tortoises. The leaves are edible.

I only have my single Russian though. So the fruit is mostly useless to me tortoise wise.

Yeah but like Yvonne said, you could try the leaves from the fig tree. Or just send them to me so I can try them and the figs on my tortoises! :p:D
