to get out of the egg,, A couple weeks ago I was digging a volunteer mulberry tree in the turtle pen to put in a pot an accidentally disturbed 3 eggs, not knowing which end was up all I could do was place them in a small container and hope for the best. At least one is hatching, not sure about the other 2 though.

Omg! I just read the title and allready assumed the worst. Glad that it is a much happier occasion. :)

Only time will tell, but Congratulations on getting one Hatchling! I've been watching 6 eggs, and today have decided they are all duds. I did have 2 successes though and there maybe more surprises in the Boxie habitat, I've been watching closely.

The other 2 broke the shell open this evening, one was upside down and both had blood and fluid, not like the first one which was very clean. None have come out yet, to much egg sac, The last 2 seem to be much larger than the first. Hopefully they will venture out in a few days and will be fine.

You sure know how to scare people. I too was thinking the worse. Glad all is looking good. Can't wait to see them all the way out.

One is out and active, for now it is on damp paper towels in a critter container at room temperature until the egg sac is completely absorbed.
