Hi! It still looks like a Greek tortoise to me (and I would trust Chris Leone on this).

I'm not sure how accurate you can get when identifying subspecies of Testudo graeca without genetical tests. Breeder should know it for sure, or if he doesn't know - there can be any combination of localities and lineages.

If your tortoise naturally slows down, stops eating and falls into brumation - I would let it do this. If it stays more or less awake - it could be a locality that doesn't brumate.

I would also be concerned about carapace dome shape and looks of the plastron. Probably we need to double-check diet, feeding and soaking schedule and UVB setup.

Maybe @turtlesteve can take a look at the photos (https://tortoiseforum.org/threads/small-testudo-marginata-question.212151/post-2222453) and help with identification.
