Yes, it's an eastern box turtle. They live wild here, some adults in the sulcatas yard lay eggs and they hatch naturally. The youngsters can get through the fencing and wander around outside and live and grow naturally without any care from me. I enjoy seeing them grow after they get colors so that they can be identified. The hatchlings all look the same. Don't see them very often but usually spot them when weeding areas by hand.Do you know what kind it is?
