So I have a Sulacata tortoise, left him at my Grandpa's place, and never really checked in on him often ever since I moved him, I just realised upon closer inspection that his shell isn't growing smoothly? It has humps and looks dry too. Is this a underlying health issue or no? He mostly eats grass and green vegetables everyday.

Also just to add the edge of his shell seems to he growing upwards.

I don't know what is causing that dip in the carapace, but the rolling up of the edges happens to quite a few captive sulcata tortoises. Maybe the tortoise suffered an injury in that area on top of the shell. At any rate, I doubt it's anything to worry about.
