Hi everyone,

I just wanted to check if anything I should be worried about.

A couple of weeks ago when we had a few days of hot weather, Tabby would be up in the morning wondering around the garden eating, then she would find a shaded spot for the rest of the day and eat again later in the afternoon.

This week though with the hotter weather, she hasn't been as active. Yesterday she didn't wake up until 12 and then slept all day in the garden. This morning she only had a few flowers and went back to sleep under her shelter.

She also hasn't been enjoying her soaks, usually she is quite happy to sit there for 15 minutes, but past couple of times within a couple of minutes she is climbing to get out. She does have water bowls in the garden.

There is a noticeable difference this week and wanted to check all is normal behaviour.

She is a 88 year old mediterranean spur thigh.

Thanks 🙂

Sounds pretty normal to me. One of my leopards and my one Russian do the same thing. The other two leopards are out early then for most of they day, with a shade break in the middle, back out again then in their bed are early.
