There is no price you can put on a healthy tortoise,
70 bucks sounds reasonable?
Is that for the tortoise itself or everything else with it the owner has?

There's the picture and I'm not sure of the size. I'm going to check him out this week and if all goes well adopting this weekend when I am paid. And it is the tortoise by itself.

A few more 'end' shots might be helpful (including a view from the underside) to help confirm sex.

I think you have a boy there. More photos would help to confirm, but that tail looks to long to be female.
