Well as some have been following Tinys issues...and some may have read the conditions Tiny was kept in before I adopted him..

So here is the question..Tiny spends all her time in her hide when she is inside.. Rarely comes out to eat.. Sleeps the day away.. But if I take her outside she immediately starts to eat and walks around non stop... But as soon as she is brought into her enclosure..She goes right to the hide and goes to sleep..

Tinys enclosure is a room I built in my basement 20x15.. Which is divided in half 20x7 divided by solid 19" wood wall.. To keep Tony and tiny apart... The room is kept at 86-89*F with a basking spot of 110(never seen her use the basking area)..Lighting is bright.. UVB setup should be here next week[/size]

She is offered a mix of fresh veg but will only eat romaine(and prefers the stem of the romaine)..will eat about 2 cups of Mazuri if I pull her out of the hide and place her in front of it.She was an eating fool when I first got her but then again she had not eaten in a long time...

I don't think it's the meds as she does eat when I bring her outside.. And will eat the stem of romaine..Could it be psychological?

I'm in Mass the winters get pretty cold here.. It's been in the mid 60 here the last few days...in about a month it will probably be in the 40-50f degree range..What I have been doing the last few days is bringing her out for an hour then bringing her in for an hr to warm up...I could probably leave her out for a few hrs as the temp doesn't seem to bother her..She eats and explores the entire time she is in the yard...But as soon as bring her in she runs to the hide and is asleep in under 5 minutes...

There outside hide is half a fiberglass dog crate..that works perfect... Angled so only they can get in and out..plenty of room inside and the dogs can't get inside.. I could rig a CHE inside with an extension cord...Or I could buy an igloo dog house and set it up with either a CHE or heat mat?? Just not sure if they would use it as they hardly use the outside hide now...Only going inside when it gets really hot out..
