This is a new female, sent to me by a good friend. She was wc as a hatchling and has grown up to be really pretty girl. Thanks for looking.

Is that a Common Snapper? Very pretty. They are all over my neighborhood, and we released a cluch this Fall, but I've never seen an Albino.

Yeah, she is a common. We have like 5 now, I think. She is a different line than the others, which were all cbb animals.

The Common's we have around here have three ridges on the top, and a ragged edge. I've never seen one so smooth here. Really beautiful.

Yeah, I have some like that, too. They can vary depending on the locality.

Very pretty. So does that mean that one of her parents were albino and
one carried the gene to be an albino? A lot of old timers around our area
including my great uncle and grandpa hunted and trapped snappers but no one ever mentioned an albino.

I don't know, she was found in the wild.

I'm going to breed her with a cinnamon male, first.
