Hi Aldabraman.. You seem like you produce a lot of aldabras and I was wondering if there was a way you can tell me if my aldabra came from your stock by just looking. I was given two as a gift while back, and wasn't sure where they had came from. Thanks in advance.. here is a photo of one of them. ONe of the two have no nuchal scute, which lead me to your name.

Interesting, that would be hard to say for sure. Your aldabra looks great and is part of the 1.34% that naturally does not have a nuchal scute. Your aldabra looks young and healthy, if you could any way find out if the origination was from Florida, it is more than likely from our program. We provide many to several sources here in Florida on a regular basis. The number/markings on his shell is not from us. We sometimes will use colored finger nail polish on the tip of a rear bottom scute for customers that pick them out prior to being thirty days old. I am sure it would be worn off by now.
