aloe?? maybe

Mom has ALOT of them anyone feed them to there tortoise red foot or sulcata? Cause imma plant them in the tank too if its OK...

Trying to add plants into the tank that would fit a 90 gallon without taking a lot of there walking space

Sulcatas love aloe. It is good for them also. I don't know about red foots but I would definitely give it to your sulcata every now and again.:)

Right when I put the aloe plant into the tank the sulcata started munching on it lol scared the thorn might hurt them

My backyard is filled with A LOT of Aloe plants Some fully grown, some still growing but we have so much. Sometimes my torts will wander in between... I've always been afraid that they might hurt themselves.
I always did wonder if they could eat the aloe.. but I guess its safe for them...
Is there any risk with the thorns that they might hurt themselves? Should I remove the thorns and then let them feast?
How much should I feed them?

Idk I put a medium plant into the tank and they ate one of the leaf already
Thought it was awesome and ate the thorn
