Hi everyone!! Ok so I've been using one if those half logs as a hide box for the babies. They finally started using it when they want lol BUT this morning found mold on it...I need to replace anyways since the top crushed a little (boyfriends fault) anyways I need ideas for a new hide box. Temporarily just for this morning, I cut a regular shoebox so they have somewhere to go, which they seem to like but I don't want them to start eating it plus I know it will mold at some point. Soooo ideas, flower pots, reg plastic tubs? What doesn't mold or get too hot? Thaaaaank you!!!

Looks ok to me. I might use a camp stove type lighter around the cut edges to melt them a tad so they arent so sharp. If youre gonna use it long term you might think about spraying it with paint or adhesive then right quick throw some sand on it - just for looks for us humanoids. Your torts wont particularly care about esthetics!

Your bowl looks fine, but the opening looks too big.

I like to use black dish washing tubs from Walmart. I flip them upside down and cut out a door hole. They only cost $1.82.
