Last year was a great year for cactus blooms and new pads,I believe this year will be just as good.The first pic is of a small spine-less variety, I harvested over 200 pads to root from this plant alone, not much fruit because I kept removing the pads to make new plants.It looks a little rough right now because I had it out of the ground for a couple weeks.The second is a pic of the ones that bloom yellow then turn orange as the day goes on and the fruit from these are very large.The last pic is a type that grows very fast and produces a lot of fruit, this is what they all have been eating for about a month, it is the first that I have to start new growth in the spring.

Nicely done.

We are having a really good year as well with the cactus and other succulents.

Nice, we are also having a good year with our cactus. No fruit but plenty of new pads...

Sure, but I haven't forgot, There is someone local to me, that I don't know, that grows a better fig type than what grows next to me,through a friend I am supposed to be getting some, and you are on top of the list.

hi there, sorry to jump in :)

I have western hermans, do you know if they can eat any type of cactus, ive looked in the tortoise food guide and could only see the prickly pear cactus
