I appreciate the link, it may not be an ivy i will check it out a little better. just sitting on my hands right now, have to wait till pay day before i can begin the build of the stand and canopy. just staring at the tank is killing me.

heheheh... Do I know the feeling?!!!

Ive' told all my friends and family that I plan on getting a Redfoot for myself in February but I need a habitat for it so for Christmas all I want is Petco/Petsmart gift cards! Looks like I might even be selling my Snake and Her habitat to help finance.... Know anyone looking for a healthy 5' Florida King Snake?

Kristina also has some great looking vivariums. I think she has a 40 gal. breeder too. I can't find the thread where she posted the pictures.

I have a 95 gal set up in my living room for my 1 yr. old Cherry Head RF. I think it looks nice enough for the living room.

I also have a 40 gal freeder on my dresser in my bedroom, that has 4 box turtle hatchlings in it. (yes, I know....there're all over the house) LOL

Your set up as far as all the plants you keep look amazing. i think my wife would be fine with it if i can come close to how yours looks. Very clean house also i might add. Our 8 month old keeps ours a wreck.

I LOVE that 90 gal set up! I'll also be starting with a 40 gal tank ....once I get started! How long will a tank that size last me with a RF? (starting from a hatchling)

I think the 8 tort length x 4 tort length 'rule' originated in the UK. It is one guideline.
I have also heard one square foot per inch of tort :p.
However, once a tort gets over 6-8 inches or so, the stats don't really work very well. At that point you just have to look at your tort and the enclosure and get a sense of how much room they have to walk around, etc.

Terry, your house looks so.... nice!!!

I was told,
6'x2' minimum for an adult redfoot!? Can anyone back this up?
My father is adding an extension to my current cage so there is more space for my 2!
