Is the Aqueon 17w T8 24 a uvb bulb? I got one for free with my new 40 gallon tank. It was on sale. The tank itself is for a hatchling tortoise but is this bulb uvb worthy? Thanks!!

It's a full spectrum bulb, but I don't know if UVB is part of the spectrum.

How could I find out? Also, does heat go through glass well?

No, it is not UVB tube and does not provide UVB output needed for vitamin 3D conversion.
