Avocados??

Are avocados safe for Redfoots to eat? Never heard of it being used or safe and wanted to double check before I think of offering some.

www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/ is the place to check things like that. I thought I'd share the source and then you could learn even more. I love the way they organize the info in a color coordinated way. Red is NO, Green is good. You'll see.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe ive read that avocados are not good to feed. Let me know if you find out otherwise...ive read that there is a lot of fat content in avocados..

I have read that they are alright once in awhile but they are really oily so it's not something you want to feed them a ton of. I tried to give some to my redfoot once and he didn't even really seem to care for it.. oh well more for me!! haha
