Baby Sulcata

Is this an ok habitat for my baby sulcata.

No it isn't. It's too small, should have substrate not carpet, needs bigger water dish that is buried in the proper substrate so the tortoise can easily get in and out. It should be a low sided clay saucer.

Thanks for the input. We got this baby from a person that was not taking care of it. The baby had a calcium deficiency. Was weak. The vet recommended the carpet and shallow butter dish to make it easier to get around on the weak back kegs. Does that make sense. Once healing starts I can change it up.

Just curious... did the vet diagnose with metabolic bone disease?

I personally would not listen to the vet. The tort needs a proper set up with proper heat/temps humidity, light hydration and that can't happen under the housing you have
